A native of Pink Hill, NC, Delores graduated from South Lenoir High School and joined the insurance world in 1987 with Interstate Insurance. In June 1989 she joined up with Donald Kennedy Insurance in Kinston, NC. She has made a career in insurance because Delores enjoys helping people and insurance allows her a platform to do so; protecting what people work hard for and being there in times of hardship. Delores is single and also a mother to two outstanding men, aged 33 and 26, respectively. She also has a grandson and a granddaughter. When not working Delores loves grilling out with friends and family, spending time with her boys and her grandkids, and fishing the beautiful Carolina waters.
