Rodney Scott grew up in Pink Hill, and attended BF Grady Elementary followed by East Duplin High School. After high school Rodney earned an industrial engineering degree from NCSU and worked in manufacturing for several years. In 2000 he joined the family insurance business and took over from his father when he retired in 2004. Rodney has a wonderful wife, Jennifer, and two children, McRae and Thomas. When he can find the time he enjoys both traveling and fishing.
